WASHINGTON – Congressman Kelly Armstrong released the following statement today on the House passage of the Conference Report to the Fiscal Year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (S. 1790):

“The Fiscal Year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act ensures that America’s military will continue to be the strongest in the world. The NDAA supports our troops at home and overseas, continues to modernize the nuclear triad, and positions America to defend against future threats outlined in the National Defense Strategy. I’m pleased that this bill is bipartisan, as supporting our troops should always be.”

Armstrong is serving his first term representing the state of North Dakota in the U.S. House of Representatives. He sits on the House Judiciary Committee, the House Oversight and Reform Committee, and the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis.
